These herbivores are the only survivors of around 12 different Antilocaprid species that existed in North America during the Pleistocene period. Often mistaken as antelopes, they are more closely related to giraffes. They are also the fastest animals in the western hemisphere with the ability to run 98 km an hour, this skill gives them the nickname “speed goat”
